1940’s
Associated Concrete Products (ACP) starts as one of the founders of the precast concrete industry.

1969
Current owners of NewBasis buy ACP.

1970’s
ACP realizes new materials, then known as “plastics,” perform better than concrete. ACP starts Associated Plastics, Inc. (API).

2000
API and ACP both change names to NewBasis. “Plastics” now known as composites.

2002-04
Precast concrete portions of NewBasis divested; NewBasis remains as a composites manufacturer.

2007-08
NewBasis starts extensive transformation. New engineering, senior management, manufacturing processes, systems and staffing. NewBasis forms relationship with MC Gill Composites Center at the University of Southern California.

2009
NewBasis starts working with utilities, standards setting institutions and academia to apply aerospace composite standards and practices to infrastructure products.

2010
NewBasis incorporates lot traceability and serial numbers in its products, an industry exclusive.

2012-2014
NewBasis develops PCX, a stronger, lighter form of polymer concrete. Along with material developments, NewBasis expands capacity with advanced batching and processing systems.
